Sergio C. is the founder and CEO of Gold Cup Mortgage and Gold Cup Group, bringing more than 24 years of experience in real estate, mortgages, and property management. A licensed California Broker (Lic. #1680699), Sergio has built his career on helping hundreds of families achieve homeownership and guiding property owners to maximize their investments.
After completing a rigorous 12-week property management course, Sergio launched Gold Cup Group to offer hands-on, local management services that eliminate stress for homeowners and provide renters with quality homes. His philosophy is simple: keep it local, keep it personal, and always be hands-on.
Sergio’s mission goes beyond transactions—he’s passionate about building a long-lasting business that one day his children can carry forward. His ultimate dream? To leave behind a successful legacy while traveling the country, visiting every baseball stadium and NASCAR racetrack.

Meet Sergio – The Man Behind Gold Cup
Not many CEOs start out making hamburger buns at 2 a.m., but that’s exactly where Sergio began—sweating it out in a factory for five years before deciding there had to be a better way. He’s been self-employed ever since.
Fast forward 24 years, Sergio is now a seasoned Mortgage Broker, Realtor, and licensed California Broker who runs both Gold Cup Mortgage and Gold Cup Group. He’s helped hundreds of families buy homes, guided countless renters into great places to live, and built a business around his favorite challenge: playing matchmaker between homeowners and tenants.
Sergio believes in keeping things local and hands-on. If there’s a property under his care, you can bet he’s involved—from the first showing to the last signature. He loves running numbers, solving problems, and creating a stress-free experience for both owners and renters.
Outside the office? Sergio has a quirky side: he actually enjoys folding laundry, starts his mornings with I Love Lucy or Happy Days, and winds down by watching police interrogation videos (don’t ask 😅). He’s a sports nut who even follows cricket (yes, the second most popular sport in the world), and he’s a diehard NASCAR fan.
Oh, and about that Mustang 5.0 he borrowed from his son… let’s just say a construction truck won that race. When Sergio climbed out, dazed, the worker looked at him and said, “Too much power for you, buddy.”
These days, Sergio sticks to golf carts—his two sons are serious golfers chasing big dreams, while he’s happy just driving the cart.
